SAM Airways and Operation Christmas Child

A week ago Saturday we celebrated Sam's (overdue) birthday with friends. Sam's special birthday project was filling shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Before the party, Sam got to go shopping for toys, clothes, toiletries, and candy at the dollar store, and many of our friends, as well, brought items to pack at the party. Sam is all about the airplanes these days, so we invited our friends to join us at the "airport."

Boarding passes were mailed to passengers with 14 days' notice.

The party started at Gate #3:
SAM Airways features onsite checked baggage (items for OCC shoeboxes),

free passport photos (kids could include their pictures in the shoeboxes they packed),

the best food in the air,

the all-important lavatory,

and plenty of fun in the skies.

Here at SAM Airways, we are very safety-conscious. We regularly practice emergency slide evacuations in the event of a water landing.

Don't forget to claim your baggage on the way out!

Thank you for flying with SAM Airways and supporting Operation Christmas Child. In total, our friends and family helped us pack 31 shoeboxes. These gifts will be used to share the love of Jesus with kids overseas. Thank you to all who participated near and far!
