One Month Old

Sam had his one-month pediatrician appointment yesterday. He got a shot, which was no fun! He had a few cries, then a trembling chin, but was fine after that, just as the nurse predicted. In this picture, he is wearing his "racer red" diaper, and you can see his little bandaid on his right thigh.

At one month old, Sam's latest trick is focusing his eyes on interesting objects, like Daddy's face or a toy that makes noise; he'll open his eyes so wide and pay attention for several seconds! Sometimes he'll even look crosseyed. It cracks us up!
