During week 2 of our the advent study, we lit the "Angel" candle and learned about the messages God sent through angels to Zechariah, Mary, and Joseph.
We celebrated last Saturday by decorating our Christmas tree and putting the angel on the top of the tree.
Each night of advent, Sam enjoys opening a new box in our advent calendar. He gets a special treat while Daddy reads a related Christmas Bible verse, then they talk about the lesson contained in the verse. Thanks to Pops for sending the treats and verses for our advent calendar!
