Lookin' Around

Sam is getting bigger everyday. He is fascinated by ceiling fans, and he is trying more and more to hold his head up so he can look around. Also, he coos and likes to listen to his own voice. Within the past week he has even started smiling. He is so much fun!

Also, he has been sleeping better now that he is in his own room. He seems to understand that swaddling and darkness mean "ni-night time," so he goes right back to sleep after nighttime feedings. Last night he went 5 and then 3 1/2 hours between feedings. Of course, Mommy didn't sleep as much as Sam did; I got up to listen when he had a few fussy moments in the middle of the night, but he was able to go back to sleep (or stay asleep?) with a little shh-ing.
