On Friday we went to Gilcrease Orchard to pick our own apples, squash, pumpkins, peppers, and tomatoes. It was the end of the season, but we sure had fun learning about the different types of fruits and vegetables. It was an all-you-can-eat apple-fest! Sarah made friends with Bailey and Chloe the cats, and we got to discover new parks while walking in our neighborhood. Below are a couple of pictures of Sarah playing in the park.

McLeans' Visit
Last week, my sister, Leslie, and her daughter, Sarah, came for a visit to meet Sam for the first time. What a special treat! Leslie didn't know she was walking into a disaster area when she arrived; we had finished unloading the last U-haul truckload the previous night, only ten hours before their plane landed! Leslie truly did save us. She is so organized: she completely set up our kitchen, she organized all our bookcases, and even unpacked Sam's room while I took a nap.
