Visitors

Well, we haven't updated the blog in a while because we have been busy with friends!  Last month, we had two sets of visitors.  First, the Spears Seven stopped in for the weekend on their way home to Camarillo, CA, from a retreat in Glorietta, NM.  What a fun time we had!  All the kids camped out in the living room, and we got to have a picnic at the Hoover Dam on Saturday.  The girls (and Bubba, too) helped cook a big breakfast and make our sandwiches for the picnic.  Here's a picture of the Spears family in front of their Clifford (the Big Red Dog) van:

Next, we had a visit from David and Rachel Stokowski, friends from college we hadn't seen in several years!  We got to meet their precious little ones, Benjamin (3 years) and Julia (10 months), who were so much fun to play with.  The Stokowskis were on their way home to Denver, CO, from a "baseball spring training" trip to Phoenix (they are big Rockies fans). 

Soon after the Stokowskis left, Sam and I were off to Colorado Springs, CO, to see Grandma and Grandpa Janzen.  More on that later....
